I live for these music puns…
You never doubt Stanwyck’s authority as a pianist, and there is a good reason for this.
Miss Stanwyck was coached for playing the piano by Ania Dorfman. True to her desire for perfection, Stanwyck practiced two to three hours daily for about a month. At the end she herself could play the relevant pieces.

'Some field shows are bigger than other field shows.”
"You gave me an infinity within the marching season"
"As he marched, I fell in love the way you learn an instrument, slowly, then all at once."
"That’s part of what I like about marching band in some ways. It portrays death truthfully. You die in the middle of the field, in the middle of a hit."
❝ Marching is the adjective, band is what we do. ❞

Does anyone else use a Fidelis Marching Euphonium? I just got one an I can’t get it in tune. My intonation is perfect on my concert euphonium, but this marching horn isn’t working for me and I don’t know how to fix it. My high Bb reads a C, my low Bb reads as an A, my F is perfect, My G reads as a Gb, and my D is perfect. This is ridiculous.
